Since August 2005, We Feel Fine has been harvesting human feelings from a large number of weblogs. Every few minutes, the system searches the world’s newly posted blog entries for occurrences of the phrases “I feel” and “I am feeling”. When it finds such a phrase, it records the full sentence, up to the period, and identifies the “feeling” expressed in that sentence (e.g. sad, happy, depressed, etc.). All of this information is saved.
The result is this
The ‘ We feel fine’ movement is now available as a book! An Almanac of Human Emotion to be exact ~ by Sep Kamvar and Jonathan Harris

New York’s Museum of Modern Art will present an exhibition of the art from director Tim Burton’s career, beginning November 22, 2009, through April 26, 2010. The exhibition will include “over 700 examples of rarely or never-before-seen drawings, paintings, storyboards, moving-image works, puppets, maquettes, costumes, and cinematic ephemera, and includes an extensive film series spanning Burton’s 27-year career.
An accompanying publication will be released in conjunction with MoMA’s exhibition, to be published in November 2009 by The Museum of Modern Art.
