Almost 2011, so its time to get boooming!
Just a quick note to wish everybody a fun, exciting, loving, inspiring 2011!
And to get you started, here’s an article of some marketing trend spotting I did for the end of the year issue of Second Sight Magazine
Trndmrkr worked together with Psilogy on a research about The Ne (x)t Generation for the Vodafone Life Rhythm Knowledge Center.
The Ne (x) t Generation is exhausted of all the information that they deal with on a daily basis , so they take a infobatical by turning off wifi or enabling ‘leech blocks’. A Leech Block is a simple extension for Firefox browsers which blocks your time guzzling websites. When you will be tempted to visit the site – or when your mouse is stronger than your good intentions – you receive a message that the site is temporarily blocked.
The digital life and impact of the Ne (x) t Generation is displayed in the documentary ‘iPod, iPhone I am’. Digital (!) Designer Joost van Loon appears in this documentary during a 2 month withdrawal ‘of the digital life. Digital (!) He has created an’ analogue blog “(a diary) of his experiences. His experiences are showcased in a real-life exhibit. Read more on the Ne(x)t Generation research here.
